Summary
Sedum annuum, commonly known as Annual Stonecrop, is an annual or biennial succulent herb native to rocky, sandy places, and open ground in Europe and West Asia. It typically grows to a height and width of approximately 0.5 feet (0.2 meters), forming a low, spreading mat. The plant features fleshy, green leaves and bears bright yellow, star-shaped flowers in the summer, which are moderately showy and attract pollinators.
