Summary
Archontophoenix cunninghamiana, commonly known as Bangalow Palm, is an evergreen palm tree native to rainforests and gallery forests along the eastern coast of Australia. It can grow over 20 meters tall and is characterized by a slender, gray trunk topped with a crown of glossy, feather-like fronds. The violet flowers appear in midsummer, followed by red fruits that are attractive to birds, adding to the plant’s ornamental value. Bangalow Palm is not a habitat for insects or macrofauna such as rodents, making it suitable for urban environments.
