Kniphofia linearifolia, commonly known as Marsh Poker, is an evergreen or semi-deciduous perennial herb native to the grasslands and wetlands of Southern Africa, particularly in regions with a moist climate. It can reach a height of 4-6 feet (1.2-1.8 meters) and a width of 3-6 feet (0.9-1.8 meters). The plant features long, narrow leaves and a striking inflorescence composed of tubular flowers that transition from yellow at the top to green, orange, and red towards the base, blooming in the summer and fall. The flowers are highly attractive to hummingbirds and other pollinators.
