Filago congesta, commonly known as Clustered Cudweed, is an annual herb that is native to the Mediterranean region, including Southern Europe and North Africa. It is typically found in open, disturbed habitats such as dry grasslands, coastal cliffs, sandy dunes, and along roadsides. This plant usually grows to a height of 0.5-1.5 feet (0.15-0.5 meters) and has a woolly texture with branching stems. The flowers are small, white, and inconspicuous, blooming in the summer and often overlooked due to their size and color.

Clustered Cudweed is valued for its drought tolerance and can be used in xeriscaping, rock gardens, or as a ground cover in areas with poor, dry soils. It is well-suited to full sun exposure and thrives in sandy or loamy soils with medium drainage. It requires minimal water once established, making it an easy plant to maintain.
