Erysimum linifolium, commonly known as Alpine Wallflower, is an evergreen perennial herb native to the rocky slopes and scrublands of the Iberian Peninsula. It typically grows to a height and width of 1-2 feet (0.3-0.6 meters). The plant forms a bushy mound with narrow, gray-green leaves. Its flowers are highly fragrant and come in a variety of colors, including brown, yellow, orange, pink, purple, and red, blooming from late winter to early summer, depending on the climate.

Alpine Wallflower is appreciated for its long flowering season and its ability to attract pollinators such as bees and butterflies. It is often used in rock gardens, as edging, in containers, or as part of a mixed border due to its compact size and vibrant flowers. This plant prefers full sun and can tolerate a range of soil types, provided they have good drainage. While it is drought-tolerant once established, it benefits from occasional watering during prolonged dry spells.
